UZIN UTZ Sponsors Fitter of the Year Award 2023
UZIN UTZ UK proudly congratulates Dean Dickinson, Director of Marston Flooring Ltd, on his victory as the 2023 NICF LVT Fitter of the Year. This prestigious competition at The Flooring Show in Harrogate in September 2023 showcased the finest talent in luxury vinyl tile (LVT) fitting from across the UK.
The event's final stage spanned two challenging days, testing each competitor's technical expertise, creativity, and precision. This year's unique challenge required the finalists to design and install an intricate sports-themed scene using LVT materials. This task demanded advanced technical skills and a flair for design and innovation, pushing competitors to merge functionality with visual appeal.
Dean's performance throughout the competition was exceptional, demonstrating artistry and skill. His meticulous approach and unique interpretation of the sports scene impressed the judges and set him apart in a field of outstanding professionals. After a closely contested event, Dean emerged as the well-deserved winner.
UZIN UTZ was delighted to sponsor the event and donate Dean some WOLFF Tools as a prize. Adam Lewis, WOLFF Technical Sales Manager, presented the tools to Dean after winning. Daniel Leeson, UZIN UTZ Marketing Manager, said “LVT fitting requires an incredible amount of skill and craftsmanship. It was a privilege to see all the competitors showcase their skills.
