Carpet Fitter of the year 2022

UZIN UTZ UK is thrilled to congratulate Dan Evans on being crowned the NICF Fitter of the Year 2022. The prestigious competition's finale occurred at The Flooring Show in Harrogate, where Dan's exceptional carpet fitting skills were fully displayed in a condensed but intense format. Due to unexpected scheduling changes, the competition was streamlined, focusing solely on challenging platform installations rather than the planned stair and landing segments.

Dan showcased remarkable skill in his nearly flawless installation, which included a demanding stretch-fit technique on a raised platform with a join and a lower double-stick platform, elegantly bordered with custom details. His performance earned him a £2,000 prize and a collection of tools.
